PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Karolina Ring features a chain-link design and is adorned with a rectangular black stone set in a silver-colored frame.
This ring is inspired by Karolina Widerström (1856–1949), Sweden’s first female physician, who graduated in 1888. Karolina specialized in gynecology and was a pioneer in women’s health. Through her own practice, she was deeply committed to educating women about their bodies, sexuality, and sexually transmitted diseases. Despite strong opposition, she gave lectures, wrote articles and books, and fought to improve conditions for women, particularly single mothers, as well as to combat prostitution. Wear the Karolina Ring as a symbol of courage, education, and change, and let it inspire you to stand up for what you believe in.
